Delawarehispanic.com is "Your Site". DelawareHispanic.com is the first Hispanic Internet Magazine in Delaware. We specialize in providing you with resourses as Latinos to progress and improve your life. We know that as Latinos there are issues that are different but the same from other communities. We are so many, yet so few in the loop of power. Once we come together as Latinos, the progressive chain will move faster. Our goal is to be as informative and entertaining as much as you want us to be.
Our personal goal is to make sure that all the world is aware of the positive contributions Latinos have made in Delaware. To learn more about the History of Latinos in Delaware, make sure you visit the Delaware Hispanic Historical Society window display (this is our fourth year). The exhibit is diplayed yearly, from September 15 to through the end of November. The chair for this important historical window display is Ms. Edith Prado. She can be contacted at (302) 995-1398. If you or someone you know should be a part of the archiving of the Delaware Hispanic Historical Society, please contact Ms. Prado and she will let you know what to do to officially archive information. IT IS IMPORTANT TO REMEMBER THAT WITHOUT OFFICIALLY ARCHIVING LATINO HISTORY IT WILL BE LOST IN TIME FOREVER.
We intend to inform you in this site of what it takes to have political power. To register and to vote. To run for office and such things as how to contact your legislators. Without brown faces at the table, it can go unnoticed of what our issues are.
Lastly, we want to improve on our latest product, the DelawareHispanic.com Yellow Pages. Soon, we will provide you with what it takes to have a successful business. We want to hear from you regarding information you may have on contributions Latinos have made in Delaware. Since 1940 Latinos have migrated to Delaware for various reasons. Those reasons are not officially accounted for. You can help!! We need artifacts, names and information of first Latinos donated to the Delaware Hispanic Historical Society.
